Tournament News
Club Tournaments
Tournaments, yes the club does get a chance to fish competitively during our busy year. Six tournaments a year, 6in 2010, are planned to see who in the club can have bragging rights until they get knocked off by someone else of course.
Of the seven only six tournaments will count toward your year end total weight. By so called "throwing out" your worst tournament it allows members to actually miss one tournament without getting penalized. With work schedules, family commitments or any thing else that may arise we feel this will benefit all our members.
All club tournaments have a four fish limit per person. The boater and the co-angler who does succeed in having the highest total weight of the best five tournaments will be crowned Angler of the Year.

Poulin Makes It Two In A Row
Congrats to member Keith Poulin for placing second in the Maine B.A.S.S. Federation Nation State Fish Off on Damariscotta Lake Sept 12-13. Keith ended with around 23 lbs for 10 fish placing him in second place for the tournament. Keith will be fishing the Bassmaster Eastern Divisional for the 2nd consecutive year this time on Candlewood Lake in Connecticut in 2010. Fishing was tough to say the least for all club members as well as the rest of the field but a great team effort by the club has sent yet one more member to the Divisional. Final weights and results posted on the www.mebass.com site.
