Juniors to host benefit open on Damariscotta Lake
The L/A Junior Bassmaster will host an open bass tournament August 2, 2009 on Damariscotta Lake to benefit the junior club. The open will be the first hosted by a junior club in Maine. The junior members will conduct most of the event tasks with supervision by adult volunteers. Over 40 adult teams and over 10 adult/youth teams are expected to participate.
The event will be run like any other open with an added bonus division for adult/youth teams. With the Maine Fish Off being held here in 2009 it is hopeful that we get at least 40 teams in the adult division and another 10 or more in the adult/youth division.
The junior anglers would like to acquire partnerships with local businesses or individuals who wish to sponsor the event in the form of cash, merchandise or award sponsorships. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to join us in this event. Register Online - Download Application
We will not be able to accept checks for the open, CASH ONLY PLEASE, since we will payout in cash only. If you bring a check we will not be able to let you fish the open, sorry for the inconvience.
